15-08-2001 4:43pm#1Got thinking today and decided the main boards.ie page needs a bit of work ( no offence to Alan ) I thought to myself it needs to be more active and more community focused. Take a look and tell me what ya's think

I think it looks well Daz, quite a bit more spaced out that I'm used to, so it seems really bare and barren (which isn't the case).

it's not too bad... it's missing something @ the top... maybe it's just the logo - maybe a few more boardmen would be good... can't say for sure- I'd have to work on a design of my own to figure it out to be honest... and it's a wee bit strange that it's got all the same info as the existing page but still manages to look more cluttered somehow - not sure - might be an idea to space it out a bit.
I'd use a different colour to that bright blue too... something that's less stark against the grey blue, and that the black will be more easily readable on.
Anyway... for more accuracy, all the most recent posts in the IrelandOffline forum should be by "Gladiator"

I am obviously NOT an admin but i think it's kinda cool. Brings a bit of colour to the screen and the layout is very nice too, pld daz. There is also another site i've seen using UBB setup and it's on www.rpgplanet.com/mir it looks a bit dark but the page layout is nicely done. Take a look
i have also looked at it in 800x600 and it looks chunky, i use 1024x768 and it looks fine. Maybe this could be sorted??
