    An open meadow,
    As the mind.
    Flowers blossom.
    Ideals of life.
    Colours aglow,
    Pink blue and green.
    No seperation here,
    No fence. No fiends.

    The sun sits on high,
    Scorching the earth,
    Crisping petals,
    Decay the thought.

    Words hurled
    At his and her back,
    Impact with venom,
    Searing to the bone.

    Rights in the wind,
    Blown past time.
    Not a moment spent
    Upon the feelings.

    The hurt these people cause.
    The violence they provoke.
    Actions speak louder than words.
    But not with words like those.
