Lan gaming problem

Using 3.4ghz, 1gb ram machine as host, running xp service pack 2

    Other machine is a 600mhz, 256ram, win2000.

Playing Soldier of Fortune 2 and KKND, no problems whatsoever, but when I play UT (typical, the only one I REALLY wanted to play lan), after about 10 minutes I get an error message of "connection failed" and something about dedicated server not being able to listen to winsock.....

And then, I have to restart the main pc for it to work again on lan.

Whats causing this, anyone know? Any help greatly appreciated.

Both running fresh installs from the original disc.

Game works no problems for about 10 minutes, then the connection dies and the game will not work on lan until a restart - however, I can go straight into another game and play lan no problem.

Thanks for the advice, but It's the original (and best :P) UT!

Might ask on a dedicated unreal forum somewhere. Thanks
