I don't ever remember being in a secondhand bookshop in Dundalk in the time I lived there. And last weekend I didn't see any either. It's bigger than lots of other places that have decent bookshops and it's not like it doesn't have a third level institure or anything.

    Where are they ?

Have you tried the DKIT Library, they have lots of books. What you do is get all the books that you need, then get your mates to stand outside as you throw the books out the window and down to them....

I hear that they have a good stock list...

    Only joking....

There's no good book shop in Dundalk, its a shame. There is a book shop in the Longwalk Shopping Centre but its not Second Hand.

There used to be two when I was in school about 10 years ago. Whitmarsh on Anne Street and the really cheap one down on Bridge Street, across from the sweet shop near the corner with the Castletown Road. I guess that the several charity shops would hook you up. SVDP and the like. One down on Seatown and one on Clanbrassil street near Central Newsagents.

Just on that note as well, I noticed that one of those stalls that sets up on a Friday had a lot of second hand books. Outside of the Paris Cafe should anyone be interested ;)
