    what a stupid rule i had the 14/1 and i only got half the stake whats that all about :mad:

    In short words, books on horse racing are laid to a one winner situation, therefore if there two winners, all winning tickets count as one winner to the full stake, and so to even out a liability the prices are halved (or depending on the amount of winners i.e 3 it would be a third). It is a stupid rule punter-wise, but take a look if your were a bookmaker, you wouldnt want to pay out twice!

    Some bookies do though,....the likes of Harneys pay out fully on Dead heats.

    Never heard of them, but thats probaly one of their specials to get the punters in.
