    What time of year do the schools in Dublin usually hold their Debs?? :confused: I want to try and sell a dress that I have. Only worn once. Shame to see it sittin in the wardrobe...

    Mine was at the end of August though that's pretty early. They go on til around late October I think

    Mine was start of October but they went on til late October. I'd say start trying to sell it in August cos people are on the look out from then on anyway.

    usualy from end of september til end of octobersome shcools have november but iv only heard of 2! and that was because they booked late!
    im going to the debs and the girl im going wit has already bought her dress! so id say start advertising it now! even if it dosent sell till september theres always the chance!

    Any suggestions where's b the best place to try and advertise it...apart from here? are there any 'hang out' spots, newspapers, websites etc etc etc?? Much appreciate the advice to date!!! :D

    Yea i had mine bought in june and my debs was in september... Advertise it on buyandsell.ie thats pretty good...

    I did advertise on buy and sell but started to get perverted phonecalls. I really hope I was an isolated incedent, it was not very plesant and I had to report it to the Gardai! Some ppl are just sick in the head!! Reluctant to put my number up on Buy and Sell again. :mad:

    Oh my god thats awful iv advertised lots of times on the buy and sell and never had any problems like that! but if your very concerned about it you could always just put your email address on it!
