I like the song, good singing and it all works. How did yee record it? I like the drums but wherever it is in the mix as in how it's panned just doesn't sound the best it could be, the tone of the drums is not the best however it was recorded. I like the lyrics simple concept and it's cool, the general mood of the song is not too anything as in: moanie, happy, sad, angry, jokey or aggressive. It's like reggae and rock at the same time, in short i loike it. (o in loike is in intentional)

    hey,

we recorded the music in about 2 hours and the vocals in another two hours. not much mastering, very minimal mixing and zero overdubs, so all we're offering is the bare bones of the song.

its very easy to spend $$$ on a demo.. but we prefer to play it live and to be honest with our sound.

saying that, i'm not 100% happy with the snare.. the mp3 quality really is shocking but you get the drift of the song.

cheers for your response and for listening.

no problem, and i agree with your sentiment to do with the bare recording, but i also have a growing belief that an album should be the band's masterpiece and open-minded listeners tend to accept that the sound won't be as perfect as gigs, but overdoing it and making it perfect is something i disagree with.
