looking for a tent, sleeping bags, and some waterproof socks

i dont want to spend much because the stuff will probably get wrecked anyway.
i figure the waterproof socks are the only way to keep my feet dry without buying brand new waterproof shoes, which i dont want to do.
im sure i heard someone mention them, but no camping shop sites i check seem to have them, they do exist, right?
and if so, where can i get them in dublin?

Try Great Outdoors tbh though I doubt you'll get fully water proof socks. Cheap tents try Lidl or Aldi or one of the camping shops on Mary st. (you're in Dublin right?)

Argos and Tescos are both selling a cheap combo pack with a tent, two sleeping bags and two roll-mats for around €80

Waterproof socks you'll find in the Great Outdoors as Phil mentioned or else try Millets off Capel St., or the Outdoor Adventure Store on Liffey St.

If you're outside Dublin, look for a shop that sells sailing or fishin gear and you'll find waterproof socks there too!

Know of any online sites for camping gear??? Irish Shops preferrably, so I can have a look and then go in!

Not off hand. Great Outdoors do have a website but I don't use it. The MCI have a list of outdoors shops but they don't seem to have any links to sites. Its been my experience that the outdoors shops here don't go for a strong online presence. A lot of outdoorsie type people aren't very internet savvy (imho).
