You can never fold AA preflop as you have the best hand possible preflop

How many players are left, I presume this was the final table?

I think considering the payout structure, you don't need to play to win but on the other hand the blinds are coming up.

You have to call this you have raised half your stack or there abouts and you are ahead of everyone.

You were outdrawn and regardless of your stack size I doubt you would have been able to bet enough to get him to laydown the QQ on that flop, no K, no A.

Your only other option is to fold and I do not believe this is a good fold.

I can think of times when I would consider folding AA preflop. If I was chip leader or 2nd chipleader and a large raise was put into me from a guy pretty close to my stack and there were a few other playes with a significatly lower chips stack AND it was the final table were top 3 get paid, I might consider letting the lower stack players battle it out and put me into the money by knocking each other out. What benifit would it be to get involved with the a guy with simialr chip stack in this position? (open to critisisim here!)
Anyway, it looks like you were mid position in the chip count, I would of called here.

The problem is if you fold your in danger of being blinded out before the money. It only really makes sense to fold AA if you are in a very comfortable chip position. Once you make your original raise here you are pot committed.

I think it was just pure bad luck. You are raising the BB who happens to be a monster chip leader so he was prob always going to call you, as 7K would hardly have dented his stack. If its just the two of ye and you double up, happy days. When the QQ got involved , they were always going to check it down being the two chip leaders. If you treble up you have your ticket.

Sorry, babbling away there, you call to raise/call as you weren't big enough to sit back and wait for others to fight it out.

You probably should have gone all-in here. The 4k bet pot commits you anyways and the less callers the better. Even the blinds are fine in this situation but you have to play imo.

The QQ probably would have called anyway but if you live to 6million you'd come out on top most times.
