Which Site to sign up for?

I've been playing exclusively on VC up to this point but for a number of reasons mainly Bonus, Rakeback and Poker Tracker compatability I'm looking to expand my horizons. So any recommendations for sites?

At the moment I'm thinking either PartyPoker or Pokerstars, any others I should be considering or which of the two should I look to play on. I'll mostly be playing STT's and micro limit cash games, NLH only.

    Any advice greatly appreciated...

unfortunatly the only site i get to play on is pokerroom. happily it's full of chimps & hamsters - quite often in the $30 to $100 STT. Although I dont play cashgames, i have watched the larger limits, and boy, put it this way, i think its high time I started. Regarding the MTTs, the play as ever is mixed, maybe 15-25% being quite respectable.

    What he said.

Party is good for bonuses and lately Pokerstars has been trying to keep up offering their own bonuses. If you can put in a reasonable amount of time (about 10 hours) for the week after Party's bonus is announced (and of course you have the cash) it's a nice little earner. PS on the other hand has no time limits on bonuses but they are not as frequent or as easy to clear if you play lower limits (from .5/1 NL up it's pretty similar though).

You could also join Empire which is the same as Party and you can get a rakeback deal there. If you are going to play a lot of cash games this is probably the best place.

PS is also ok for cash games. I get less variance there as there's not as many muppets, which makes it easier to accurately put people on a range of hands.
It does require a bit more concentration though!

GamingClub also has rakeback and is pretty ojk for cash games but crap for STT's as they take ages to fill.

By this do we mean that Stars has well structured SnGs? I play mostly SnGs, and ideally I'd like fishy ones :P If I don't mind waiting for games to fill, would Party be the place?

The Stars ones are just as fishy. I think the PS $20 SnGs are probably the softest I've ever palyed.

Party fills too quick. You can't get a seat unless yu're quick at times!
As Nicky said PS 20$ is quite soft. I've fould the Party 20$ to be tougher as it does get quite a few tight players and because of a faster blind structure (and smaller stack which people don't seem to realise) it descends into an all-in fest pretty quick.

On a slightly different bank roll, my tip is $3 STT turbo on VC. It's very quick, and once you just play premium hands early its easy to finish in the money. In the end game it's about surviving the blinds and calculating when to take risks. One can expect to be in the money in over half your games. I think perhaps its so easy because people don't understand how to play with the blinds increasing so fast, and also because it's the type of game that would attract impatient people. Not something you can retire on, but it's little risk and you don't have to concentrate.
