    Hi.

    Im after getting a job in Roaches Stores. I start on wednesday at 9. However ive never had to travel to town to work, or even that early in the morning.

    I live in kilmore (Coolock) and would be getting the 27 or 27B both go down the malahide road and through fairview..

    ~Im just wondering what would be the best time to get the bus so im there on time, allowing for traffic etc. Its just im not used to traveling into town in rush hour traffic and dont know how long it will take.

    Should take you somewhere around 45 mins from door to door. Maybe leave that bit earlier on your first day.

    You could also try getting a bike. It's only 5-10 mins from Fairview to town by bicycle. I don't think it's too far from Coolock to Fairview either.

    do you know how much i hate lazy people, and this constitutes you getting other people to do your work for you?

    do a trial run on the morning bus, and sort it out yourself.

    No, he's right. I should have been more considerate...

    He shouldn't have to go to work if he's lazy. No more commuting suggestions people, please :)

    There's a difference between lazy and unfit by the way. I've found cycling from Fairview to city centre to be a LOT quicker than the bus, even during off-peak hours. I've heard the same thing from people who live in Coolock. At the moment where I'm living, it's far quicker to cycle than wait for the bus. Being a moderately lazy type myself, the cycling option is far more attractive to me as it means more time in bed in the morning and I still get to look good by being in work well before 9 :)

    im talking about laziness as in asking on a web site how long it takes to get to work on the bus.

    not lazy as in 'i dont want to cycle to work'

    I think she meant;

    "No you are not. Seriously, I get tired after dancing for a while."

    Sure it,s no problem cycling into work from kilmore but getting up that hill from fairview to kilmore after working all day is a another story. but it will get you fit.
