    this is more than likely in the wrong thread but anyways ...

    my mate has just moved into a new flat with her boyfriend. can anybody suggest something nice as a gift for their housewarming? they're in their early twenties.

    Get practical stuff but make sure whatever you get is cool too. Like a toaster or something is fine but a colourful toaster would be cooler. Or bed sheets. Get practical stuff if they haven't got everything they need yet. They'll really appreciate it as it'll save them having to get it themselves.
