Anybody have a link, with specs, might be worth checking out.

Think this is the one Linky (scroll down page)

No real specs but they seem to think its a rebadged model.
Should get specs with a search on the other camera models mentioned.

Digital cameras have become so popular and affordable recently that I think it's best to go for a trusted brand. Olympus, Canon, Sony etc. Don't know anything about the camera Aldi are offering but a lot of the "budget" cameras on offer now while on the face of it may seem be offering high specs. (pixels etc.) usually compromise on the quality of the lens. Also best to check if you can add other lenses later. (ie. Zoom, Wide angle, Macro etc.) Check out Internetcamerasdirect (they post to Ireland) first and see how much bang you get for your buck.
