    Lexus just released their new Hybrid RX-400 SUV.

    Check out the prices;

    2WD version ~$36.6K
    AWD version (18/24mpg) ~$38K
    AWD Hybrid version (31/27, better in city) ~$49K

    Hardly worth the wait, I cannot see the same enthusiasm for this one as for the Prius.

    Just thought I'd throw these specs in;

    US Version
    3.3-liter (202 cubic inches), four-cam, four valves per cylinder with continuously Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), 60° V6, aluminum block and heads. Certified Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle II (U-LEV II)
    230 hp @ 5,600 rpm,
    242 lb-ft torque @ 3,600 rpm
    - 0 to 60 in 7.7 seconds (FWD) [3]/7.8 seconds (AWD) [3]

    UK Version;
    Capacity 2995cc
    Maximum output 201 bhp (150 kW) @ 5600rpm
    Maximum torque 209 lb/ft (283 Nm) @ 4500 rpm
