Hi guys long time reader, 1st time poster,

just lookin 4 your opinion on a hand thats been reckin my head 2day.
1st off i know i played it all wrong! just lookin 4 your feelings on whether i woz rite 2 fold ie that he made a straight or flush. the more i tink about it the more i tink i did the wrong thing, just had that horrible feeling u get when u call a bet and tink your bhind, i always am wen i get it!

I think you will get shown 2 pair/set here a lot of times, would he really lead out with a massive bet on the river with the nuts?

I thnk you probably are behind. I think he's just a bad player who, because you called bet on the turn, expects you to call a big one on the river and doesn't know how else to paly it. Sometimes you will be ahead but long term I think you'll lose money with a call there. Not knowing the player its dificult to say.

Yes. I think you have to fold here although it's possible you may be ahead.

A bigger flop bet would probably be the only thing I would change in what you did.

in highinsight (my spellings joke) yes the bet on the flop woz perhaps 2 small. but at the time iv flopped 3 aces against only 1 player who has checked it 2 me. Iv got 2 believe im miles ahead. if i put in a big bet im goin 2 drive him out and make no more money, also if i check it he may smell a trap coz i usually bet a flop wen im the preflop raiser.

Betting 2 into a 6 euro pot shows some weakness which woz what i wanted 2 him 2 feel, just unlucky that the only player in the pot wit me flopped 4 clubs, that is if he indeed did hav the flush draw!
