    Hi,

I've been a slave to a slow Dell Dimension the past 6 years, and it's just not able to cope anymore.
    I'd like to put around €800 into a new machine - I dont need a monitor / keyboards / mouse / speakers.
It'd want it to be a good gaming machine ideally :)

I was thinking about the outlet store from Dell for this, but want to see what else is out there.
I probably wouldnt have the confidence of putting a unit together myself though.

I had a look around, but would appreciate your comments and input... which is most welcome :)

    Thanks.

I would take a look a Dells new 5100 series , very quiet cases , installed the 5000 series a few months back

Configure the system online with all the discounts

Then call Dell and ask the Sales person to match the price

Then if you get this far ask them to take off Monitor (around 100 Euro if they don't lie about that they can't take it off the bundle)

May as well get the keyboards and mouse as they will only save a tenner or so

At least you get a system with one warranty and a new OS

Other wise I would take to Marx about a custom build if you have the OS

I could buid one for you for about 75 Euro if you have all the parts also
