I got the last 15, a cracking innings by Jones.

Needed 10 off last over to win. Mcgrath bowling. He'd gone for 2 an over up till then. 1st ball NB and a run.

Gough runout 2nd last ball, still needed 2 off last to tie, Giles got it with I think an edge to 3rd man.

Also don't know how Australia didn't win.

Did you see McGrath's face when they gave two leg byes instead of an LBW? Hahahahahaha i thought he was going to poop himself.

Still what a final. Think we went into it a bit arrogant (how the hell did Vaughan get out in that fashion!?) Its going to be a cracking Ashes tournament, Australia don't seem to have much in the way of a bowling attack outside of McGrath. Come on you Lions!!

Yeah he was having a right whinge at somebody at the end of the game :D

Good to know these guys are human after all, you could see from McGrath's face that he was not relishing bowling the last over and he did appear to bottle it big time with some terrible deliveries to tail-enders

They are human, and as Corporal Jones would say...

"They dont like it up 'em Mr Mainwaring"!

I'm really pissed i missed the ending now...tbh i didn't expect england to get thru the 50 overs let alone snatch a tie. Tis a real pity the Ashes isn't starting on thursday now....we have another heap of bloddy one day internationals to get thru yet.

Oh well....hopefully they live up to the excitement of the last batch. :)

Let's hope the Ashes are as exciting as this match. Can't believe England got it
