Has anyone tried one of these? They sound sooo sweet for only €179 on Thomann. The reverbs, delays, pitchshifter, and special effects sound clips sound amazing. It has PC editing too so you can download new effects from the Yamaha site... I think I might add one to my rig pretty soon... The footswitch system looks pretty limited but i'd only use it for the weird effects anyway....

Yeah... the amp models/dist etc. dont interest me but it has craploads of really weird/cool sounding reverbs/delays/pitchshifting. It would be interesting how this shapes up against something more expensive like a G-Major. It looks like an amazing version of a Zoom 505.

I'm not really into multi fx pedals. I'd prefer to keep it simple - maybe a tubescreamer, wah and echo.

looks like a bit of a stupid gimmick that you'd get bored of in a week

Usually Im not into multifx but you can use that like a normal stompbox with the bypass switch. Did you listen to the sound clips?

WW&BW had them on sale a few months back for $99.. I was very tempted to pruchase as it was a bargain ...tried one out in the Yamaha shop in town ..was ok wasnt blown away .it had a lot of band specific patches which was nice but the zep 'black dog' patch was poor.I couldnt really crank the volume in the shop to really hear the quality tho so it kinda sounded Zoom-ish. Try before you buy ,def.oh yeah it it doesnt have a headphone output

My god! The amount of clips is incredible.

OK. After listening to some of the clips, it does look pretty cool.
