    Hi,

I arrived a couple of weeks ago in dublin (I'm French) and i'm wondering where I can play squash. I ran a search on google but it seems that there's only squash clubs for college students or grads. I'm a beginner in squash but did played a lot with some friends a year ago.
so, can anyone tell me which club i can join (I live in city centre) and what are the fees?

    thanks1

I wouldn't mind knowing this too, I've not played since Squash Ireland on the howth road disappeared (must be going on 6 years now?)!

I'm not sure if UCD still offer a pay as you use system for their courts in Belfield.

They had information on their website last time I checked. I think their courts were open to public use.

Also St Finbar's GAA club (Naomh Fionnbarra) on Fassaugh Ave in Cabra has a squash court. It's on the 120/120/122 bus route about 5-10mins journey from O'Connell St. Good if you are in the north city centre.

They have pay as you go (€6 per person) and squash only membership (lump sum, plus €2.50 per member).

I wouldn't mind practicing with you since it's been a while since I've played squash. (september04). I'm still considering myself as a beginner...important question however, are you a male or female because that makes a big difference as a player.

I'll checked that out as soon as I'll bring back my racquet from france :D . However, I'll need to find a female partner and I think that it's gonna be tough!

UCD (Belfield Campus) courts are open to the public. €12 per 40 mins.
I play there a couple of times a week. You can also rent raquets and squash balls from the sports shop there too.

You know that place only closed down for afew months and reopened. Persuming I have the right Squash Ireland on the howth road. I've not been there in a year, but It's definitely got new management.

Yea it worked out pretty expensive cause had to hire the rackets(3 each) and buy a ball(4).. I tried calling Churchtown but no answer, and the place in Rathgar has been sold, so I didnt know where else.
