this is a current list and someone who has just been knocked out twice in a row doesn't get near my list . His reflexes and speed have finally gone and he will never be the same fighter as before .

I agree he is over the hill and gets hit way to much these days.I see your point....after years of Roy Jones Jr been regarded as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world its strange seen a list without his name on it.I suppose we have to move on.

I choose Morales. He's never in a dull fight, tough, willing to fight all comers, he's an all round great fighter. It's easy to forget his recent(ish) win over Pac with Mayweather, Hatton and co in the spotlight. All the guys in that list are great fighters though, no doubt about it.

I picked Bernard Hopkins. When he beat Eastman it was his 20th title defence, hasn't lost a fight since 1993 and i think he'll make it 21 against Taylor.

I agree , then I presume he'll have one more fight and he wants Roy Jones Jnr as Roy is of only two men to beat Bernard and the other was in Hopkins first fight .
The fight would take place at either a catch weight or Hopkins moving up in weight considerably .I think he would beat Jones .

I think Hopkins beats Jones Jr as well, though I doubt the fight will happen. As always there's the money factor and both these guys value themselves pretty high. Also, I don't think the risk of a rematch with Hopkins will interest Jones too much. What he really wants is revenge over the men who knocked him out and a fight with Hopkins would delay that (potential) revenge by a few months.

Also I think Jones would be happy that his record states he beat Hopkins. He wouldn't want to fight Hopkins again because looking at their recent form Hopkins would level the score.
