I had always believed that the best thing, and indeed the only worthwhile thing, about French TV was fine looking young women shedding their clothing on very flimsy pretexts - was the best thing on TV5 when NTL used to carry it anyway.

It's certainly the best thing about French films and kept me entertained back in the bad old of my adolesence days circa 1980 when we didn't have the Interweb for that sort of thing (late night French films on Fridays on BBC2 and hopefully your parents would be out).
