Takes a while for the changes to filter through the gigantic collossus that is now the boards. Try flushing your cache and/or your toilet. I often find this helps.

In particular it seems the updates are only done when the page is "rebuilt" after someone posts or replies, therefore old topics that haven't had any recent posts won't have had their html page "rebuilt" lately and so won't have picked up the most recent updates.
