Whats Expansys like?

Put an order in number of things for my PDA. At the time of the order I was only waiting for 1 item due in 7 days.

A few days later all except 1 item were out of stock, Then a few days later they changed one of the items on the order.

Asked them about it and said the item was the same. Price not that much different. However one item everytime I looked it got longer and longer waiting for it.

So I asked them for a status and said I'd have to wait and they could send it as two orders. I didn't want that so I didn't ask for it.

Just got an email everything has just shipped, but when I check the same item is still out of stock (12 days wait still) and the warehouse snapshot I've been watching never once displayed my items coming in/going out.

Kind of wondering wtf is going on. Anyone else done business with them?

I ordered my PDA, GPS and various related bits from them a while ago and had a similar expirience. Everything was in stock when I ordered, but my CC got rejected as my bank had mispelt my address. By the time I had that cleared up some items had gone out of stock. Some then came back in stock while others went out... For one item the lead time on the site was getting longer and longer each day so I wrote a stroppy mail complaining that it seemed impossible to ever get the order. They appologised siting supplier problems. Soon after the order dispatched and arrived fine despite one item still being out of stock on the site.

I concluded that when items come in they keep asside pre ordered stock and dont include it on the web site count, so you might never see a stock come in. The overal service from these guys was good as the cost was very competitive and the delivery time not too bad in the end, despite the site giving me heart failure.

Expansys is alright to buy fones from.but are a bit expensive.:mad:
