Best webcomic option

I was thinking of setting up a webcomic and I assume that a blog is the best way to go.
I'm setting up a site with Mambo at the moment and I think that might do the job.

For the comic site I just want the comic itself and then the standard:

First, Back, Next, Last and Archive buttons underneath.

Could anyone suggest the best way to set this up please. Did a search and couldn't find anything.

Basically want to be able to upload an image and the site does the rest.

    Thanks

http://www.picasa.com might be an idea, just upload comic scenes instead of photos.

That is an option, thanks. Want to make a website around it too. Something like Penny Arcade (surprise, surprise) with the comic as the front page.

Hrm, don't think a blog is what you're looking for really; not the standard sort anyway.

Though it probably wouldn't be overly difficult to customize some blogging software to the job.

Hmm... if there's nothing obvious available I might write some myself, see how it goes. What'd there be... forward, back, archive, home...

    Found this on my searches:

    http://www.enisoc.com/btphp.php

Called btPHP it is a MySQL-based PHP content management system for web comics.

Seems to be exactly what I want. Thought others might be interested.
