Proposed Sticky covering "Gaming pc's" and other types of builds

    I've noticed there's a few threads that keep poping up latelly about what spec for a gaming pc or others.
    I spoken to Khannie about it and he thinks it a good idea to have it as a sticky.
    If people could post whats needed for diferent types of pc and descriptions of its use etc etc basically anything that covers what you have to know to build a gaming or other type of pc and ill sumarise what comes up for a sticky.

    If people (mods) dont agree thats fine to but i think it will cut down on repetetive posts maybe speed up the whole board as well. People dont see a post that might be of help to them so just post a new one rather than search.

    Just want to add to this.....

    The existing stickies will be cleaned up into more useful / meaningful format. There's also a proposed sticky on "how much is my PC worth", where people can just append to the end. Think Kali's going to post this.

    My own main goal is to reduce the number of stickies and reorganise them, 'cos it's a bit of an outdated mess at the moment.

    Perhaps an FAQ sticky? This could cover what Jozi's proposing too.

    And incorporate all into one thread?

    It would mean no scrolling down when you get to here, which is a good thing

    Col_Loki has a good sticky in Tweaking/Modding which gives details on PC components and recommends parts for different types of systems. If this was updated on a regular basis then it would be very useful.

    How about we just have ONE sticky, But the first post of that sticky would link all the relevant articles? (or maybe a slightly less drastic approach would work :p)

    Yeah thats good to.
    www.amdmb.com have their forum done like that. Everything you want to know about your mobo, in the case of my old mobo, features bioses tweaks problems etc.
