Guitar lessons - Swords, Malahide area

    I need one-to-one guitar lessons in the Swords/Malahide (Nth Dublin) area. I have basic chords and once knew some simple scales but no more.

    Want to get back to it. Both electric and acoustic. Lots of styles from trad to heavy metal, and most things in between.

    The teacher must be good (qualified even better) and genuinely help me progress - I had some bad experiences with lessons in the past where the guy just sat there playing himself - impressive, but didn't help me !

    I am willing to put the practice in on my side.

    Can anyone help me ?

    Try posting on www.swordsdublin.com Ya might find someone in there. Also look up the North County Leader and Northside People. There's always someone advertising guitar/music lessons in there. Or place an ad yourself there.

    I think they have lessons starting in September at St. Finian's School in Swords, (evening classes).
