hay...i was just woundering how do you come up wit a good band name?
if anybody has any suggestions let me no ok!

Sometimes names just come up by accident or another way to do it is to stick random words together.
A good name i reccomend is: Rubber Wilson!!!

Put random words together and hope for the best. Better still, write hundreds of words on small bits of paper and pick pairs out at random. Et viola etc.

Theres no easy way of coming up with a band name. The easiest situation is if nobody in the band cares what the name is, and the most difficult is when every member of the band is a different type of perfectionist with his/her own vision of what the band should be. If youre torwards the former end of the spectrum, youll have no problem, but if your like my band, youll spend literally years before everyone is happy.

I agree with lord chessington ..you'll never please everyone in the band cos they all have a different idea of what sounds cool...I wanted to call our band'The Smell' cos it sounded cool to me ..but of course there were objections..the drummer wanted to call us 'The Body Electric 'after a line in a Rush (!)song...no f*ckin way was I havin that !
the lead guitarist would probably want to call us something more Metalish like 'Brainsqueezer' (or somethin )and dont even get me started on the bass players suggestions....:-D
picking names from lyrics from favorite bands is common or from books you like.
My latest suggestion is WOAD (Weapons Of Ass Destruction) but i'm sure that will go down like a fart in a spacesuit as well

what kind of music do you play that might help...you could also call yourselves the singers name & the band name like Gerry and the Pacemakers...
or Frank & The ****
