There is a new homepage plugin available for WM2003 phones which greatly enhances the usability of the homescreen on Windows Mobile smartphones.

I've been playing about with it since lunchtime, and its the business. It adds PDA type functionality (visible tasks and multiple calendar entries, with a tabbed interface) to the homescreen.

Free too (but for how long?). Check link for screenshots.
