I'm not really a fan of hip hop/rap used to be alright but am now a metal head. But maybe you guys can shed some light on something that has always puzzled me so far as the like of Eminem and that goes. Why do rappers grb their crotch when they bustin a rhyme??

I teach Tae Kwon Do and yes I was going to beat up a kid that was half the height of me, and about 12, yep thats real sane and mature. Metal and rock is way more versatile than rap, how many bans from years ago are still going strong, even though half the members are dead or just gone, Nirvana, Guns N' Roses, Pantera, and loads more, but look at the amount of one hit wonders in rap, theres a huge number. As for generalisation, I said it before and I'll say it again, come down here and my point will be proven. If you don't like they're sort of music then you're not fit to breath the same air as them.

And this is bacause he listens to a certain type of music? no, its because he's a scumbag and listens to the lowest common denominator music which gets played on the local radio staion or MTV all the time ie, dance music & commmercial rap, the fact that they attacked you had nothing to with the 50 cent album he just listened to, its got to do with his upbringing, there are no subliminal "kill the rockers" messages in rap music and if you blame the music for their behaviour or associate a certain type of person to a certain type of music then you are being as ignorant as they are.

If you go to a real Hip-Hop (ie.the likes of Blackalicious, J5, The Roots, etc) gig i guarantee there would not be one scumbag in sight

I used it in the plural and did not direct it at anybody in particular, you just happened to be the poster who disagreed with my calling you (in plural) chavs, which round here, as I will again state, is a much politer term than scumbag, as I did not intend to offend.

How can you know a "sound scumbag"? Surely that's an oxymoron? Or are you the type who labels all people from working-class estates "scumbags" or "scobes" or whatever? The levels of snobbery I come across on this site is unreal to be honest. I'm from a working-class estate, am I a "scumbag" because I happen to be from a corporation estate as opposed to private housing?
