Location, Date and posts.

What happened to them?

First the location went, I figured it was because they couldn't be censored. Now the Post count and date registered are gone too. What's up?

Agreed- I can see why location was removed, but as for post count and date registered, these are (like it or not) often of interest to other posters (for whatever reasons) - mods and admins included, and I for one think they should be left in.

Were they removed intentionally or is it a glitch caused by some other update?

Cloud, in hiw wisdom seems to have removed them.

The post count is still represented by the stars, and perhaps may quieten the spamming.

I think Karma is going to go in there soon.
Who knows the ways of the cloud eh?

Post count = penis size, as we all know. Just click profile for a user if you desire to have the information revealed to you.

Instead of having 'number of posts', just put in a rank based on highest posters

Well it means now that it's less obvious to see those that can only be described as "The Founders". Those individuals who have been here so long no one (least of all the server) can remember when they registered.

Yep most of the originals have no date registered since it was only added in later UBB versions so it was a bit pointless.

But it means some of us can come down off our high horses and mingle with the lowlies ;-)

Maybe we should have a vote (through the poll service) on this, the idea to remove the post counts (and the date registered is governed by the same setting) was to stop spamming - but do people really miss them?

The Poll thingy should be used more often to get users' opinions on the site and its future IMHO.
