The disk in the CEO's laptop has gone wallop. Some very important
stuff on it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any data recovery
people in Ireland or the UK that do this sort of recovery???

Cheers, going to try one or two things first before I give up on it and
hand it over to them, but its not looking very good though.

Don't try anything yourself unless you know exactly what you are doing and what effect it may have on the data/hardware. If it's really inportant then send it in to one of the specialist companies and pay the fee.

PS, one good thing that will probably come out of this is that your CEO or CFO will sign off the purchase order for a proper backup/DR solution :)
