Anybody know what was going on in Inglewood housing estate last night at about half 7 - 8 o clock?
It was like a scene outta "Worlds Wildest Police Videos". I hear sirens, look, see about 4 cop cars chasing a Rover 620, next thing they ram into the car and smash it up against a wall. The driver jumps out, as do all the coppers and pin him to the ground and arrest him. Next thing, about 3 unmarked cars (high powered Mondeos & Camrys) and a few more marked police cars arrive. At this stage there must be about 10 garda cars & 20 gardai swarming the area.
Anybody know what it was all about?

I heard all the sirens alright. I'm sure you'll read all about in one of the local rags

He was just another cop, he pulled a legger from the station with all the jelly donuts and the others weren't happy.

maybe they were bored and they decided to play tag - at the expense of us of course.

How could you possibly know anything about him? You think he should be shot because the guards were after him? Im sure the McBrearty family would be chilled by that idea.

Damn, wish I lived in a sh1thole... no excitement in my country manor :D:D;) . If he stole a Rover 620 he deserved to be shot alright. Id say the cops had a bet on, who could catch him first, and bonus for most damage done. :p

i'm not convicting the guy judge dredd style, just presuming it was a stolen car.....

if it takes that many cops to chase him down, you can presume he was going at a serious speed for a considerable length of time.

i think anyone else endagering life to that extent, including the lives of the police chasing him should be eligable for popping.

not exactly framing someone for murder is it?

by tribunal i was referring to the abbeylara case.

    ill get my coat :o

To be honest I would say it was drug related because there was way too many plain clothes cops and unmarked garda cars involved for a simple speeding offence.
Either way, I contacted my copper mate and he's gonna find out what it was all about for me

    ROFL. Love it!

but seriously Blanch, along with most of our suburbs are quickly turning into absolute dumps. These f*ckers should all be shot. Hardline stance I know but anyone wearing burberry should get a bullit. That includes all the posh nobs that own actual burberry stuff.

    Bring on the complaints.....

PS: I used to live in Blanch and had to put up with these scum everyday. So glad I got out of there but I guess you'll find tham everywhere. Zero tolerance will soon become the only means of deterence.

If he had 4 cars after him and then a few unmarked aswell i doubt he was being chased for dropping a crisp packet on the ground! :)

    shoot the ****ers! :)

even shoot them in the leg as a warning.. might think twice about it next time! :)

    In the cittttaaaaaayyyyyy of Corrrdufffff........
Lets show these fools how we do it over in West-way, cos you an I know its the best way

Even HuntstownWood tryna get a piece of that baby

/me has now run out of all Blanch tenous links to the California Love joke :)

There was guns seized over in Clonsilla the other night I think, maybe it was rlated
Saw some van bein chased at very high speed by what I presume was an undercover cop around Ladyswell other night, van was racing towards Damastown estate (tryna make a break for the motorway maybe)

West Dublin "becoming" a sh1thole? Blanch has had shootings etc since at least the late 80s. Its quiet now but as soon as this cop operation to contain the gangs runs out of cash it will start up again. Thats whats happened last time. Last winter you couldnt move around North Dublin with checkpoints. Then the scheme ran out of money, and over like a month people started getting shot again
