    im looking to improve my skills in this field
    apart from Mavis Beacon Typing 16 etc
    is there any free ware stuff simalar out there?

    Where have you looked yourself? Did you try entering "typing tutor freeware" into Google ?

    I went to Download.com and entered "typing tutor" and I found MaxType Lite Typing Tutor and Stamina Typing Tutor. There are more free ones. I'll let you search for those.

    Typer Shark is a webgame that improves typing skills. A bit silly, but fun and not without practical merit.

    LOL if u can believe this in the country that im from we had typing as a subject in school, u could do typing for your leaving cert :eek: , i loved it. To bad i did my last year of school in this place.
