Just wondering if anyone took part in qualifying or the matchplay.

Me and my Dad started playing this foursome eventlast year. We qualified then beat 3 pairs and lost to the Lenihans on the 18th, the son off 3 is a golf scholar from america who was not gr8 but good.

This year we tried our luck again. We shot a 75 in qualifying and 85 was the cut so we were well safe. Then in the first round mathplay we got drawn against the Lenihans again =D
It was a gr8 game. Darragh the son was amazing this time and hit every fairway and every green but rolled of on some. I matched him nearly all the way, trying my best, it was really between us two, the dads didnt figure =D We beat them on a 19th playoff.

Then today played the Sheerans, local StAnnes players so we were in a spot of trouble from the start. It was a really tight game but unfortunatly it was kinda me on my own again(my dad is ahving serious iron problems recently) We lost on the 18th. A major bummer but gr8 experience and gr8 fun. If you have a father son golf pair you should enter next year.

    any of you play?
