    What a day.

I won the London-on-line lottery, didn't even have to buy a ticket!
Won a lottery in South Africa, again can't remember buying a ticket.
Then to top it off some anonymous friend of mine recommended me to a Ms Smith of Sierra Leone who thinks I am just the man to help her with a little problem she is having getting her hands on US$ 160,000,000.

All I can say is " Fúck you, Ronan Collins " :D

Hey, i won over €1.5m from some FIFA lottery!! Why even play Euromillions or the Irish lotto where you have to buy a ticket.

little story (prob. not interesting, but i'll have a go anyways!)

my mum lives in tenerife, and she had be doing the uk lottery for her every week, but i kept forgetting. she'd always ask me if i'd done it when we spoke, and being unable (ever) to sucessfully lie to my own mother, i'd always admit that i'd forgotten.

anyways, after a couple of months of this, she tells me to give her numbers to my aunt, and let her do it for her, so i didn't have to worry about it.

3 weeks later, she gets 5 numbers and the bonus. £165,000 and some change.

i just about passed out thinking what would have happened if i'd forgotten to do it that week.

i still got a few quid out of it anyway, which was nice. paid off some debts and went on me holiers to see her to say thanks.

i won something like that a few weeks ago,

ive sent them my bank details now so they can trasfer the money.
the only crap part is the crappy 15eu administration charge, but you can pay that on your credit card and theyll release the money straight away.

i borrowed my parents credit card and the organiser is going to call me tonight to pay the fee and release the money :D

You think it's bad not winning? You should try working there. Watching the winners show up to a champagne reception and a big fat cheque on a regular basis whilst I'm sitting there wondering if I can afford lunch. Someday I'll live the dream and install a vat of boiling oil on the roof that'll tip over with one quick tug on a rip cord. Mmmm....toasty. :)

i've got a good feeling about my lotto ticket for saturday night... just think about all the wonderful things i could do with it, like ringing various charities telling them all about my fortune, and then tell them they're not getting a cent! And not to mention lighting my fags with a burning e50 note...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,126 ✭✭✭][cEMAN**

I think they should start putting that on lotto outlets

"CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY WON €1m!! PLEASE PICK 6 NUMBERS AND PURCHASE A TICKET TO SEE IF YOU HAVE WON!"

    lol no purchase necessary ;)

The odds are a little different to the Irish one alright but they pay out for lower matches. Have done the lottery 7 or 8 time so far and won 6. That is a lot better than here. It could be dumb luck but I think they pay out with 1 number and a bonus number which is pretty good odds.

lol, tell that to my mum who won a few grand on it a few years back or her cousin who won e3.5 million 2 years ago. I prefer to bet on the lotto in the bookies anyways, much better odds.

Cool, so if you're so smart.... i have a test for you... what are the odds of picking 6 numbers out of 42 in the Irish lotto?

But.. i already know the answer... the test was for hostyle.. i asked him because the phrase he said has been repeated on every thread about the lotto practically on boards. It's annoying. I wanted to test if he really was as smart he suggested in his statement

Er, even? I would presume everyone is capable of picking 6 numbers at random out of 42. Then again this is boards.ie so I could well be proven wrong.

Oh i meant the same 6 the lottery draw comes up with...

    good answer though ;)

If you're pissed off getting these emails, hit them back at www.aa419.org and check out the Lad Vampire while you're there (it steals their fake bank/lottery sites bandwidth, and once the cap is reached it causes them to temporarily close... mwooahaha... all fully legal and above board aswell afaik)

So what? Doesn't mean he knows how to do it, if that was the case everybody would get 600 points.
