Does anyone here work with SAP? If so which modules and on the functional or technical side?

I'd imagine they are too busy driving their ferraris and playing golf to post here tbh.. I know of a guy who was making €1200/day doing SAP consultancy

I work as a SAP consultant too and was wondering why there is never any SAP related talk going on here since its so widespread.

My Dads worked with SAP for years and we drive a Toyata Avensis, maybe the porsche 911 is kept in their secret house in the Hamptons.....

Well, you have to make the distinction between highly paid short-ish contract work Vs more secure permanent work.

So whats the big deal with SAP? Is it a hard skill to pick up or something?!

I worked with SAP IS-U briefly, I did SAPgui Scripting nothing too complex.

But when I was there the consultants, mix of independents and Acenture, made a fortune, several of the guys in were on over £250 Sterling a day! Don't know why couldn't understand a word they said!

I think independents can charge what they like as a lot of senior management hasn't got a breze about SAP.

Although I can't see these wages staying so high for much longer, all our ABAP code was written in Mumbai for much cheaper than anyone here would do it for.
