    Folks,
Who makes that plasma TV with the green lights either side of it, it's being advertised a lot at the moment?

    Cheers,
    S.

The ad says that the world is crap and colourless without ambilight, so are they saying that all the models they sell without ambilight are crap? :)

The lights will hardly make the screen any better! Would they not be distracting?

Maybe I'm just a marketing whore, but I like the idea of that.
I'm not even sure what exactly I like about it, but there just that something...

I have a regular 28"WS Philips CRT and put a light behind it. It definitly makes watching the TV easier on the eye when the room is dark.
