Editing software for vob files?

    Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows of some good software for editing vob files? I want to be able to cut out scenes from movies or attach scenes etc without having to recode them to mpeg,avi or divx to do so. Its very time consuming. I have pinnacle and various others that only allow editing in avi mpeg or divx codecs. Ideally i want to be able to decrypt a dvd to my hard drive and open the vob files in suitabe editing software with the file split into small scenes. Im looking for something cheap, free would be even better.
    Any help would be much appreciated, Cheers.
