    how do i bypass bios password dell demension pc model 2100.i know about password jumper ,etc.i wanna try to disable password or switch off security paswords.bios passwords are lost.can i just press del go to setup security ,and switch off password,or security mode.i know about removing battery to go to default settings ,etc.

    i have no password nuthin, its looking for bios pasword .how do i get in to setup mode.is it press del.

    Basically jumpering to maintainence mode should do the trick

    updating the BIOS sometimes removes the password

    I accept no responisablity for this you do this at YOUR own risk.

    Remove the battier from the CMOS board. Leave it for a few mintues to let it wipe the board clear. And then reinsert it and the password will be removed.

    Sorry did'nt read the rest of the message I think that this is the only way to do it. :(
