Has anyone here ever heard of or used a great little bit of free software called Freesco, availbale at http://www.freesco.org/ It is open source (non-proprietary and unix based and quiet easy to use very quick to set up (Runs from a floppy so no need to format or partiton HD.
I have it running on an old pc with four nics and two usb network interfaces on which i have three different subnets running at the moment, all the other pz are milti-homed with wired and wireless cards on different subnets through a central switch.
The main pc is connected via sattelite to the internet and also connected to the switch the signal from which comes from the DVB card that came with and has its own addressing structure.
Now what i need to know is can i get a network adaptor for say a ps2/ps3 or an xbox and connect it to the diy router address it, and use either console to take advantage of my BB connection that way?
