How do they work? Anyone know of any good ones? I need to find me a table, and Argos is crap for them, and I'd like a nice old one...but know nothing about auction houses and so on.

there's one in rathmines beside the libary and i've gotten some great bargains in there. It may take you a couple of weeks of going to get what you want but you will eventually. viewing is on wednesday with the actual auction on thursday

What kind of prices would things be going for? Like a basic looking table for example? Do they do normal stuff, or is it all fancy stuff?

yeah they do a mix of stuff its basically what has been submitted that week. lookout for pawnbrokers auctions for some real bargains in electrical stuff and jewelery
