    Doesn't seem great to be honest. If you're a member of the VHI they do multi-trip worldwide cover for 2 for 65 euros or thereabouts. The Irish Independent also published details of a company offering a similar deal to VHI but for less again. I'll post details later if I can find the article.

    I have used ACE Travel Insurance many times and had no problems.

    the vhi deal is the best ive seen around but both people have to be members. one year multi-trip works out around the 35 quid mark each.
    have used aib before also, not bad, think they have an online facility for it too.

    Yep used this on a number of occassions and no problems.
    Also, Pigsback have a dealw ith them that the first time you get travel insurance, that you can recieve extra piggypoints.

    ACE is the company that you get travel insurance from if you go to AIB for travel insurance, but I think that it is cheaper to get it directly from ACE.

    There was an article in last Friday's IT about AIB travel insurance.
    It was unwritten by ACE but if you went direct to ACE instead of going through AIB site, you saved about 20%! :eek:
    Reason " we have a team on line to talk about the terms, claims etc?"
    What a lame excuse.
    Don't they have people like that in the insurance company anyway?

    Yes they do...crazy mark up.
    When I applied through the web site for ACE, I made a mistake and it had all gone through, only realised this after I printed the documents, so I called them and it was all fixed within minutes with new documents emailed to me. Don't see any reason for going through AIB...
