Public transport to Dublin Port (Alexandra Rd.)

I'm applying for a job in Dublin Port (sounds like the furthest point up Alexandra Rd.), but if I was offered it, I was wondering how easy is it to get from either Busaras or Connolly station every morning?

I see the 53a bus goes there, but in the evening there only appears to be two return journeys, the times of which don't suit.

    Any other options?

Some 53 buses also go to/from Alexandra Road

There are also the ferry connection buses from the Irish Ferries terminal to Busarus at 06.20, 11.30, 17.30, 18.30, 22.10 but these would be delayed if the ferries are late.
    (From Busarus at: 07.30, 11.00, 16.30, 19.30.)
That bus costs €2.50 and is not covered by commuter tickets.

Otherwise, a lift or walk to East Wall Road for the regular 53 departures.

Are you sure that the job is located in that part of the port? Dublin Port control a very large area on both sides of the river.

It's with Irish Ferries and this is just based on the directions I was given for the interview.
