Is Wagamama worth a shot? I got a 2 for 1 voucher in Heat magazine(it was a one off impulse buy, I swear!) and feel this would be a suitable time to check it out. Any recommendations on food there too? I was looking at the menu and they like their spicy things and spring onion which I personally amn't too keen on.

Eh.. its all right,.. 2 for one is good enough reason to go.. ike if someone said buy a nissan micra..you'd say no.. but if they said buy one get one free..... you could be twice the scumbag for half the price.. how did i get to this.. i'm worried... yeah the point of the story! dont buy a nissan micra!

Yeah definitely go if you have 2 for the price of one. Their chicken katsu curry is very nice, and comes with rice which is handy, cos eating noodles with chop sticks gets very very messy!

it quite nice actually. definitely worth a try. the food is quite similar to yamamori i think. quite varied as well, noodles (i think 4-5 types), rice, soup based meals, fried etc. you've a 2 for 1 voucher anyway, just go....

wagamoomoo is excellent - one of my favourite haunts - superior (food-wise) to places like maos and yamamori. It very relaxed, but with tasty food, and surprisingly excellent deserts. Go there - try as much as you can.

WaGamama had a petition that was signed by over 100000 people to remove farmed salmon from there menu and refused to do so. If you like salmon from there I wouldn't research how's its farmed. The most toxic and cruel thing you can eat. I'm no vegan or vegetarian either.

you know all salmon in ireland sold anywhere is farmed? except cans of wild stuff imported from the pacific northwest

You actually can get it wild. There are salmon nets still allowed on a few rivers in the country. The river laune in kerry is still allowed to be commercially netted.

Any salmon to buy wild will cost you serious money. That's why poaching is such a big problem.

You Can buy wild alaskan salmon in supervalue.

If you seen the state of the salmon farms you would never touch it.

An application for a new farm was rejected in the courts recently do there is hope.

i'm in supervalu all the time and regularly at the fish counter, never seen fresh salmon. the only time i've ever seen it is in dunnes, wild alaskan salmon at the fish counter, which you would imagine has been frozen and obviously transported from the far side of the world. anyway, with the very few salmon that are still coming back to irish waterways, we really shouldn't be touching them at all.

I've deleted and banned random AI? Shilling poster from this almost 20 year old thread. Happy to let the thread run though with new discussion.
