I used Murrays too and found them very good, I booked over the phone and got a rate inclusive of insurance, unlimited mileage and petrol etc. Picked it up out in the airport and the actual one they gave me was a hi-roof transit so tons of space. When I hired a different one a few weeks later off Argus in tereneure, the van was smaller, didnt include insurance so had to pay a premium to my company and their was a mileage cap so overall Murry's would have been cheaper and got larger van!

Forget Murray's. Use Enterprise - book online at www.enterprise.com. They are the cheapest, without exception!

    Well, im not so sure.
I just checked their site & the Van availability is rubbish as well as the prices being nothing special. Thanks though.

    I'll contact Murrays, thx everyone.

They might be cheaper but again they dont include insurance in their prices and if your own policy loads in a premium for transferring to a commercial for the day (As did mine AXA of 25 euro PER DAY) then any price advantage is cancelled!

That said if you already have commercial insurance then yes they probably are cheaper!

Stay away from Enterprise. I've used them before and their service was diabolical.

There was some thread here recently about the Van Man. Everyone was saying he was really reasonable and helpful. Would probably work out cheaper than renting a van yourself.
