I was just thinking is there any chance of a boards.ie email server being set up? I think it would be a good idea for both sides, ie: site hits and easy to remember email addy's smile.gif

    Very big step...
Seriously, make it say £10 a year for your email with maybe 10 or 20mb of space, and its usable with OE, and you can collect it at lans etc.

or you could do it through http://www.bigmailbox.com. they set up all the e-mail software, and the mail is stored on their servers, and the interface the user sees, can be customised to look like boards.ie or whatever. everyone could get @boards.ie address's!.

    and it's free!

www.everyone.net is what i use -serving over a hundred mail addy's...
only problem is they've started popups which are really irritating -otherwise it's very reliable- and takes a lot of the headache out of the process ...
    tuppence worth,

    lph
