Uptime and boards.ie

Hi Guys,

I just want to say sorry for the current crapness of boards. It pretty much started when boards was defaced - we've hardened it as much as possible. However, it seems we might have incurred the wrath of a couple of script kiddies with a couple of DoS scripts.

We're doing what we can to resolve the situation, and if we find out that someone is DoS'ing us, then they are in trouble.

Sure it's a free service you're providing, So we can't really complain when they're down because we're not paying
IMHO I think boards.ie has been great, like I've only seen it down twice in the whole time I am here.

it's so we can *manage* the risks and sleep/have a few pints at the weekend with real mates who are important to us instead of worrying about some box somewhere we didn't patch properly...

can't trust people online.
