Not too sure about the ins and outs of its finer points

    Pci express Ati x800se 128mb.

Any information on its general performance?

Or how long more it will last as a decent card?

    And also, any recommended replacements?

    Thanks

Thats an ok card but look up at the x800xt/xl/xt pe or 6800gt/ultra or even the x850xt in the coming weeks with the next Gen of cards as these should reduce in price.Hear the x850xt is an awesome brute of a card.

the topend x850 was king of the kill out of the last gen. So far only nVidia have released the new gen of cards, ATI's are supposed to be coming out in a week or three.

x800se is the crippled x800 card.

It only has 8 pipes, where the Pro cards have 12 and the XL and XT have 16. Expect performance about the same as the 6600GT, which there are benchmarks for all over the net. You should be able to play any game for the forseeable future, but not at the highest settings
