tips for winning in vegas

    hey all, i'll be in vegas for five days starting next weekend so i was just looking for some tips to help me win at texas hold'em, i've been playing a few years now but just with friends so how different is it when you're actually there? any tips would be greatly appreciated about any aspect of the game, thanks

    I'm here at the moment and playing the 1/2 NLH. Its a breeze. Most of them are terrible. Play standard tight aggressive and you will make a fortune. They call with anything and pay off when they hit any of it from what I can see. Most of the irish guys are ripping up the tables here. I'm up 200 dollars in a single 3 hour session.

    Get Em, Bet Em. Thats about it.

    Sounds great DeV, you'd think there would be some decent players though... Don't get caught :D

    all the decent players are playing 2/5 and 5/10. The holiday makers are playing 1/2 and getting drunk on the free beer. There are other good players for sure but you can spot them a mile off and stay out of their way (they'll stay out of yours too by the looks of things).

    There are some monster games with the pro's. I mean, absolutely monster. 4K/8K I think was the biggest I saw.
