Censored words

I appreciate the neccessity for some words to be censroed,but heres an odd one.
This "word": 'G-E-Y'

Whys is censored? People can type gay but not that? Is haxx0r speak being c3ns0r3d?

The problem is that while trying to post to the humanities board I realised I could not say bog-ey.So its just aswell not many golf fans post to the Sport board.Mind you no-one posts there.It also rules out fog-ey...and maybe some others.Anyway, obviously I'm just bored...but nonetheless,unban "G-E-Y"!

As far as uncensoring it, don't hold your breath. Little kiddies could have their minds warped by such a dangerous word. And more importantly lawyers might sue boards.ie for the severe trauma caused. Best safe than sorry. Use géy instead, the frenchness of it takes away it's mind warping powers.

hehe, i think somebody had problems posting their name "Mong.ey" or something when registering for something

I like the football team Sc.unthorpe, but I can't post about them although thats an understandable word to censor, unless you could make the script check for an "s" coming before the letter c, in which case it would not censor it
